Keep client productions structured.

Track shots, assets, continuity and costs across a shared project.

AD AGENCIES

Keep the brief connected to the output.

Develop concepts, plan variations and retain production context across formats.

DIRECTORS

Keep creative intent visible.

The decisions behind each shot remain connected to its prompts, assets and outputs.

COPYWRITERS & ART DIRECTORS

From script and storyboard to moving image.

FX & POST PRODUCTION

Prepare generated assets for post-production.

Export media with its production record for editing, VFX and colour workflows.

HOW IT WORKS

From the page
to the picture.

The screenplay, shot list, assets, prompts and generated material stay connected through the whole production. The creative logic behind every shot remains visible — you always see how each image and clip was built.

The Script Developer workspace with guided development and the screenplay side by side.

Script developer

Develop the screenplay for production. Set the rhythm, the visual world, the characters and the tone of every key scene.

The Script Processor workspace showing a screenplay and its analysis settings.

Script processor

The script is analysed into scenes and shots, with every character, location and prop pulled out of the text.

A Footagen shot card connecting screenplay source, subjects, location and composition.

Shot list

Plan coverage shot by shot. Add or cut shots, change the angle or lens, block a scene in 3D and set the camera moves.

The Look Base workspace with a scene-specific visual direction and master look prompt.

Look Base

Build one consistent grade for the whole film, or generate log-style footage to grade later. From references, prompts or both.

Character Studio showing a character model, appearance description and reference controls.

Studios

Every character, location and prop gets its own card. Costume changes, physical continuity and voices, defined once and carried through.

The node-based production canvas connecting shot context, prompts and generated media.

Timeline & Canvas

Every shot on the timeline has its own node canvas, arriving pre-filled from the shot list. Generate, review the take, move on.

Export Studio showing organised media from three scenes of a production.

Export

Edit-ready footage organised by scene and shot, upscaled, each file carrying the production record that made it.

The image Edit workspace with model selection, support references, masking and crop controls.

Create & Edit

Step outside the pipeline whenever you want to. Generate single images and edit or refine them freely, the way you would on any AI generation platform.

WHAT FOOTAGEN COVERS

A film production laid out as a chain of stages: screenplay, script breakdown and shot list, casting, costumes and props, locations, equipment and filming, directing, raw footage, edit and post production, and the final film. Cost tracking sits above the whole chain. A bracket marks the span Footagen covers, running from script breakdown through to raw footage.
You bring the screenplay. Footagen covers everything from the breakdown through to raw footage, with cost tracked across the whole production — then hands off to your own edit and audio post.

FAQ

Common questions.
Straight answers.

What is Footagen.ai and how is it different from a clip generator?

Most AI tools are built around a prompt box. Footagen.ai is built around a shot list. It starts from your screenplay, structures the project into scenes and shots, keeps characters, locations and props consistent across the whole production, and delivers organised, edit-ready footage with its production metadata attached. The difference is between a one-shot tool and a production pipeline.

Do I need a screenplay to start?

No. You can start from a rough idea, a treatment, a brief or a finished screenplay. Footagen.ai helps you develop and structure the production at whatever stage you're at. A full screenplay gives the most structured output, but the platform works at every stage of development.

What will a production cost to run?

Pricing will be decided after the beta test period and published before the official release. The platform already includes a calculator that estimates generation costs from the selected models, planned shot lengths and take ratios.

Can multiple team members work on the same project?

Yes. Director, stylist, cinematographer, storyboard artist and AD can work on the same production simultaneously, each in their own role. The work splits the way a production splits it: one person on characters, another on locations, another on props, while someone else generates scene coverage. However many hands are on it, the visual storytelling and the continuity stay under control.

Which AI models does Footagen.ai use?

Footagen.ai is designed to support multiple image, video and audio models. Model availability changes over time, and suitable supported models can be selected for different stages and shots within the same production workflow.

Is my content and data private?

Yes. Your screenplays, assets, prompts and generated footage are your own, and we do not train on your content. Footagen.ai is local-first: by default your project files and generated media stay on your own device. Every generated file carries a production record of which model and provider produced it, with which prompt and references — so you always know exactly what made each frame.
